Who we are
A church. A community of friends. A community seeking to follow God in the way of Jesus with other people. We are still figuring out what exactly the exchange and following God all means, but we invite you to come along on this journey with us.
What we do
We are a group of people reading the Bible, working to take it seriously, and practice it in our lives. By this we mean that we love God and love all of God's creation. We gather for dinner, conversation, worship, and prayer Sunday evenings at 5p. (We're done by 7:30p)
You are welcome here
Quite simply everyone means EVERYONE. All are welcome. We are all valued and loved by our Creator and should be loved and valued by us. Whether your gay or straight. Republican or Democrat. Young or Old. Black or White. Single or Married or even if its Complicated. You are welcome. And you will be loved. We welcome all people, all gender identities, all ethnicities, ALL people.
Meet Some of Our Leaders
Chris Scott is the pastor of the exchange, a Mennonite church in Winchester VA that meets at Centenary Reformed United Church of Christ.
Our Affiliation
We are officially a new church in connection to Mennonite Church USA. Does this mean you have to be a Mennonite to attend? Absolutely not. None of us own a horse and buggy, though that would be cool.
